MAKEUP TREND: Black Lip

With the new Style Black Collection coming out from MAC, I thought I would post something about the black lip trend before I haul from the new collection. Personally I LOVE the black lip. It just has to be the right event or occasion (ex: night time look) and be complimented with simple eye makeup. A very BOLD, attention grabbing, avant garde look! Many people who are scared of something so stark black should just try a dark color lipstick for the fall. I love MAC mattenes for dark lips. Some colors I like are Chockful (chocolate brown), Bing (dark, deep vampy red), Kirsch or Rapturous (dark reds) and the repromoted mattene in the Style Black Collection "Night Violet". So I tried it out (left pic) before I saw the collection so I could see how the lips look.

Girl Alone

Girls Aloud is my FAVOURITEST brit pop group EVER. If you don't know who they are. . . . ummm well you REALLY need to find out! Youtube, Google or Wikipedia them. SERIOUSLY!! They just finished their tour for the "Out of Control" album and now some are doing solo projects. The gorgeous, Cheryl Cole started first and released a solo single that I cannot stop singing. Just like most of you I am too obsessed with Ebay. I started early in High School and now I would buy everything on Ebay if I could find it. Just type what you want & BOOM . . . . its there for my grubby hands to snatch. Some of my recent purchases have been:

-MAC Tinted Lip Conditoner in "Pink Fish" . . . . (which I passed up on earlier when it first came out BUT got a good deal for it)
-Random Vintage Tie-Dye Tunic Dress . . . .(from a great EBAYER that sells items that you want to find when you go to the thrift store, but never do)
-Mini Heart Bamboo earrings

Pandora Playlist of the Moment

I know this is a random first blog but I thought, "what the heck, im just gonna jump right in". So today I was browsing through my Youtube playlist and played Ce Ce Pinston's - "Finally". Then I got a light bulb. So I made a playlist on Pandora.com with Ce Ce & it's GREAT!!! It has those old school early 90's electronic songs mixed with R&B. Some artists include: Lisa Stansfield, Mariah Carey(the oldies), Keith Sweat, Zhane, SWV, Sade . . . . & my favorite PM DAWN.
