While casually browsing my usual blogs, I came across the "orange carpet" of the kids choice awards. This might sound weird but I usually look forward to seeing what Rihanna is doing with her look at events, and she didn't disappoint. Hmmmm I might even make a catagory for Rihanna look of the moment. Anyways here she is with her super kawaiiii lolita inspired socks. (do i feel a new trend coming?)

Fluorescent Hoodies, Super Deep V-Necks, Multi-Colour Leggings and Risque Photographs. That might be what first comes to mind when I say American Apparel, RIGHT? BUT NO!! HOLD ON A SECOND. While you casually browse the ultra hipster product of "AA", on the bottom left hand side you might see a link for VIVA RADIO. And I suggest you click it, because it contains an amazing list of music (Radio Style, with time slots & stuff). You can listen live or view "broadcasts" from a day earlier. But the music is awesome. I just listened to a station called "Oui" which had a collection of French Infused 70's Disco Style Pop Songs (ex: Baccara- "Gimme More" & Pierre Bachelet "Emmanuelle"). And as I'm typing right now the Naked Friday's Playlist is on featuring Murdoc from the Gorillaz. He plays a mix of his own & has some funny interviews in between. VIVA RADIO!

Pandora Playlist of the Moment

I was on the way to work listening to Pandora, which I always do, and everything sounded so redundant. But then I had another light bulb flash. The moments before I left for work I was previewing the Gorillaz new album before it dropped. So I created a Playlist for them on Pandora and it was so refreshing. Ahhhhhhh. It has everything from Gorillaz, Beck, Blur, RJD2 (check them out) and Daft Punk to Fatboy Slim, Cake,Moby and Royksopp (my fav.)

MAKEUP TREND: Black Lip

With the new Style Black Collection coming out from MAC, I thought I would post something about the black lip trend before I haul from the new collection. Personally I LOVE the black lip. It just has to be the right event or occasion (ex: night time look) and be complimented with simple eye makeup. A very BOLD, attention grabbing, avant garde look! Many people who are scared of something so stark black should just try a dark color lipstick for the fall. I love MAC mattenes for dark lips. Some colors I like are Chockful (chocolate brown), Bing (dark, deep vampy red), Kirsch or Rapturous (dark reds) and the repromoted mattene in the Style Black Collection "Night Violet". So I tried it out (left pic) before I saw the collection so I could see how the lips look.

Girl Alone

Girls Aloud is my FAVOURITEST brit pop group EVER. If you don't know who they are. . . . ummm well you REALLY need to find out! Youtube, Google or Wikipedia them. SERIOUSLY!! They just finished their tour for the "Out of Control" album and now some are doing solo projects. The gorgeous, Cheryl Cole started first and released a solo single that I cannot stop singing. I was trying to put the video on but I can't. BUT CHECK OUT THE SONG:
